- How long does Restaurant Express take to deliver?

A - On average 45 - 75 minutes or less*:   Once you have placed your order we forward your request directly to the restaurant where they begin preparing your meal to go. Preparation times may vary depending on the size of your order. 

*Please allow extra time for larger orders, rush-hour traffic and inclement weather.*   We cannot guarantee exact delivery times. We do our best to make sure you get your order as fast as possible.  Once your order is complete, we will deliver it to the location requested.

  • Your order will be sent via email or fax to the restaurant where it is then prepared. When your Delivery Driver arrives he/she will double-check the order and then pack it in our insulated delivery bags.
  • Once your Delivery Driver leaves the restaurant, delivery time is usually 5 - 10 minutes, which guarantees your order will arrive fresh & hot, just how you like it!

A - The minimum order is $15.00 and the delivery charge is based on your location.

Q3 - Can I order from a restaurant not on your website? Return to Top

AAllow a 2 business hr. advanced order notice by phone, fax or email and  we can deliver food from any restaurant within 10 miles.  The delivery fees are listed in the above chart for our Partner and Non Partner Restaurants.

If placing your order by phone call us at 301-850-1275 and one of our representatives will be happy to take your order.  We will place it with the restaurant and call you back with your total and estimated delivery time. 

There are many restaurants not listed, we encourage customers suggestions as to which restaurants they would like to see added. We will then work on accommodating that request by passing that information on to the restaurant.

A - Orders can be made online or by calling Restaurant Express of Waldorf.  Our website contains a copy of the full menu from our partner restaurants along with their prices. 

To place an order online, simply visit www.restaurantexpresswaldorf.com.

  1. Search for the restaurant by selecting the type of cuisine or by clicking on the restaurants logo.

  2. Select the time you would like your meal delivered and submit your order. 

  3. You will receive an e-mail confirmation at the e-mail address provided for your confirmation.  For your convenience, online orders can be placed through the website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Delivery times are listed below:

  • 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday through Friday [Lunch]
  • 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM Monday through Saturday [Dinner]
  • 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM Sunday

A - You can pay online through our secure website or by phone.  Restaurant Express of Waldorf uses the  latest transaction encryption technology to process your online transaction. 

We accept cash for tips ONLY, Visa, Mastercard and Discover Cards.  In the interest of customer security, please have the credit card present at the time of delivery.

Should I tip my Delivery Guy or Gal?

A - Your driver is using his or her own vehicle, fuel and equipment.They then secure your order in a hot insulating bags and  then delivers it to you location for your convenience. It is customary to offer a tip in an amount of 15% to 25% of your order. 

Q8 - Do you deliver breakfast?

A - Yes, on Sunday's. We can also delver breakfast Mon through Saturday with advanced notice, you must have your order submitted by 5 pm the previous business day.  There is a breakfast minimum of $30.00 + a 15% gratuity applied to the order due to the delivery being scheduled outside of regular business hrs.  Go online or call our customer service representatives at 301-850-1275 to schedule breakfast.

Q9 - Can I order from more than one restaurant?

A -You may order from as many restaurants as you like by phone or fax only. There will be a transport fee of $3.00 per additional pick up.

A -Meals are transported in the highest quality insulated delivery bags to maintain temperature and freshness.

Q11 - How is accuracy verified on all orders?

A - When ordering by phone, our representative will make sure that your order is place with your specific instructions in mind by providing you with a complete read back of your entire order. Our Reps are highly skilled and trained, they are 100% focused on making sure that you are pleased with your experience with Restaurant Express of Waldorf.  Your representative will then verify your delivery and credit card information. On all fax and internet orders, they are sent electronically 'as is' to the restaurant.

Q12 - What should I do if I have a problem with my order?

A - Contact us, as soon as possible so that we may remedy the problem. Our contact number is

Q13 - What if my order arrives later than expected?

A - Our delivery times are estimates based on the time it takes to prepare your entrées and the estimated commuting time of the driver.  There are various events that may take place to alter delivery times such as weather, traffic, order size, etc. Any of these events  may result in your delivery time being delayed.  If your order is expected to arrive late a customer service representative will contact  you with an updated estimated time of delivery.

A - Don't hesitate contact us at 301-850-1275 .  We have a few ways to resolve this matter that include: 

  1. Redelivering the item to you.
  2. Removing the item from your bill.
  3. Or giving you a credit towards your next order.
